It wasn't until after we became non-denominational that as a lady I truly felt what GRACE was all about. I had constantly lived in fear and was so filled with spiritual pride. I was basically an elistist spriritual snob. God showed me who I was from the inside out. I got a taste of freedom and love when I saw my salvation was finished at calvary. I was constantly preached at growing up that it was the rules (standards) that helped my salvation along. But this day I can say that standards (rule) are not stronger than the true Holy-Ghost . He doesnt need a set of rules to keep me .I serve God now truly out of love and thankfulness for his grace everyday not out of a religous pride, and fear. I am on a whole nother level in faith now and God has tremendously blessed my life and our ministry.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01448912003196501124noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1452498167720518127.post-73933178245442955912010-10-25T06:26:04.611-07:002010-10-25T06:26:04.611-07:00AMEN! Having grown up under the same teachings as you, I can honestly say that I do not conform to their ideas. A pastors wife once told me that it was about 10% Biblical and 90% man. I had knowledge of this long before she said it, it was just good to have my understanding confirmed.

Thanks for having the strength to be willing to swim against the flow of conformity.

Mark Twain once said "Travel is fatal to prejudiced, bigotry and narrow mindedness".Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04122697612193205260noreply@blogger.com
